Bruno — Dachshund Studio Portrait Session at Bentwaters
Bruno came in for a studio portrait session at my Bentwaters studio. He’s a solid, good-natured dachshund who approached the session with a kind of unhurried calm that made everything run smoothly.
The Session
Some dogs need twenty minutes before they’re ready to work. Bruno didn’t. He settled quickly, responded well, and was patient throughout — patient enough that we could take our time with the lighting and get the setup right before pressing the shutter.
The images from the session are a good reflection of his character. There’s a steadiness to the portraits that matches the dog. Not every session produces that, so it’s worth noting when it happens.
The Portraits
The portraits from Bruno’s session came out well — clear expression, good light, and a proper sense of his character. A straightforward session that produced exactly what it should.
