Cooper — Dachshund Studio Portrait at Bentwaters
Cooper came in for a studio portrait session at Bentwaters. A dachshund who arrived with plenty of energy and settled into the session at his own pace, which is exactly how these things tend to go.
The Session
Cooper needed a few minutes to get comfortable in the studio, which is completely normal. Once a dog has had a look around and decided nothing is going to eat them, you usually get the best from them. Cooper was no different — once relaxed, he was fully present and gave the camera some excellent expressions.
The session ran through a variety of setups, and Cooper handled each one well. A dog with that kind of natural curiosity tends to keep their eyes forward and their ears up, which is exactly what you want for portrait work.
The Portraits
The images from the session came out well — a proper set of studio portraits that show Cooper’s character clearly. Exactly what a portrait session should produce.
