Is there parking and access?
Plenty of free parking. There are two steps into the studio, which is worth knowing if that’s a consideration for you.
What facilities are there?
Tea and coffee on arrival, and toilets on site.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully insured with professional indemnity and public liability cover.
Will you use my dog's images?
I sometimes use images on the blog, website and social media, and for competitions and qualifications. I’ll always ask your permission first and get a release from you. If you’d rather not, that’s completely fine and won’t affect anything.
How long are images kept?
Images are kept for up to a year after your session. If you haven’t viewed or ordered within 30 days of receiving your gallery, the files are deleted, so do have a look when the gallery arrives.
Who owns the copyright?
Under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, copyright stays with the photographer, so images can’t be copied or scanned without written permission. Digital files come with personal usage rights so you can share and print them for yourselves.
Do I have to book?
Yes. Sessions are scheduled ahead of time, either through my online booking calendar or over the phone.
How long does a session take?
Sessions run for up to 3 hours, in the studio or on location. That leaves time for different backgrounds and for your dog to settle in, so nothing gets cut short.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes. A gift voucher buys one of the three packages: £110 (one edited image), £170 (three) or £280 (seven). Each includes the £80 session fee and a studio session of up to 3 hours, and is valid for 12 months. Vouchers are for studio sessions only, not on location. Vouchers cover edited digital images only, not prints or wall art, and cannot be exchanged for cash. See the vouchers and buy one online, and read the full voucher terms.
Can I bring friends and family?
Yes, the more the merrier, as long as your dog agrees. Some dogs perform for an audience and some prefer a quiet room, so think about what yours would want.
My dog is nervous. Will that be a problem?
No. Nervous dogs are welcome and we go at their pace. The studio is a quiet, private space, your dog gets time to explore and settle before the camera comes out, and sessions run for up to 3 hours so there is never any rush. If your dog needs a break, we take a break.
What happens after the shoot?
You’ll receive a private, password-protected online gallery to share with family and friends. From there you choose the images you’d like as wall art, prints or digital files. Your package includes a set number of edited images, and there’s no sales appointment.
